Where else but in the great land of Oregon would designer toys and “going green" fall in love, get knocked up and have a whole herd of insanely cute and rabidly eco-aware offspring!

The owner of Off The Grid Toys is what one might call an eco-nerd; hopelessly addicted to small lumps of artistically inspired polyvinyl chloride, while striving towards an earth friendly existence.

 

The reality is that ”vinyl” toys and green living are at incredible odds with one another*, and we here at Off the Grid Toys are ready for a change.

So if you give even a teeny weeny F@&K about the planet, but aren't quite ready to throw in your burning desire for plastic designer toy sweetness...

Manijeh Thinks Thoughts

The only thoughts I’m thinking right now are “Holy Flying Spaghetti Monster could this take any longer!!” Although right now is a really exciting time for OtG, as we are finishing up our first prototype and about to have our first mold made, it involves tons of waiting on other people. I’m ready to get out to the OtG manufacturing facility (otherwise known as the shop connected to my house) and squirt some hot, recycled plastic! Pics of the first toy prototype to follow soon!
